IT projects & office moves
The IT projects you don't have time to finish yourself
We send in experienced people, finish the project, hand it to your team and leave. No reallocating your staff, no headhunting fees, and a price ceiling agreed before we start.
Every IT team has a project that keeps slipping. Not because it is hard, but because there is never a quiet week to do it.
Project work is how many of our relationships start. A short engagement with a clear end: we bring experienced people, complete the work, hand it over to your team, and leave. It is designed to be painless.
Every project carries a not-to-exceed price, agreed before we start. That gives you a number to budget against, and it gives us every reason to finish quickly.
What's included
- Office moves
- Your movers handle the furniture. We disconnect, transport, reconnect and test the technology, and coordinate with your moving company so nothing arrives before its network does.
- Infrastructure projects
- Server upgrades and migrations, network rebuilds, Wi-Fi, firewalls, and data center build-outs.
- Emergency response
- A major outage, a failed patch or a security breach: immediate remote triage, an on-site team, incident management, recovery, and a written report of what happened and what to change.
- Dashboards and reporting
- Custom reports and dashboards that replace the spreadsheet someone rebuilds by hand every month.
- Application development
- Custom applications and integrations, on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, for web and mobile.
- Documentation and technical writing
- Technical manuals, user guides and process documentation, or a review of what you already have with a list of gaps.
- Equipment inventory
- A detailed record of your hardware, useful for insurance as much as for IT.
How it works
-
Scope
What done looks like, the timeframe, and a not-to-exceed price.
-
Staff in
Experienced people start quickly, without pulling your team off their day jobs.
-
Finish
The work completed, tested, and documented.
-
Hand over and leave
Your team gets the documentation and a walk-through. We step back.
Questions we get asked
What do you move in an office move?
Everything with a plug or a cable: computers, servers, monitors, network gear, phones, printers and copiers, audio-visual equipment, point-of-sale systems, security cameras and alarms, UPS units, and the cabling itself.
Do you move furniture?
No. Your movers handle desks, files and boxes. We handle the technology and coordinate with them on timing.
What if something goes badly wrong outside a project?
Call us. Emergency response covers outages, failed patches and breaches, and starts with remote triage straight away.
Will the project price change halfway through?
Not upwards past the ceiling we agreed. If the scope changes because you ask for more, we will price that separately before doing it.
