Getting help

How does remote support work?

When a technician asks you to, you download a small remote-support app, and the technician connects with your permission. You can see everything they do, and you can end the session at any time.

Most problems are fixed remotely, which is faster than waiting for someone to drive over.

  1. A TenacIT technician asks you to run the remote-support tool, either from the Remote assistance link on our support page or a link they send you.
  2. You give permission for the session to start. Nothing connects without it.
  3. You watch what the technician does on your screen, and you can end the session at any time.

Before a session starts, close any windows and documents that have nothing to do with the problem. Technicians limit what they look at to what they need, but it is easier for everyone if the screen is tidy.

Remote support is for active clients with a signed service agreement. Only run the tool when a TenacIT technician asks you to as part of a request you opened. See How do I know a call or email is really from TenacIT?

Thirty minutes, and you will know where you stand.

No obligation, no pitch deck. We will tell you what we would do and what the ceiling would be. If that is not worth it, you have lost half an hour.
